Project Description
The Urban Nature Project was the redevelopment of the Natural History Museum’s 5 acre gardens into a welcoming, accessible and biodiverse green space. This included construction of 2 new buildings; The Learning & Activities Centre and The Café Garden Building. Our contracted works consisted of the drylining and plastering elements to the internal fit out of the two new buildings. See below key completed works:
- Installation of Clayworks faceted plaster ceiling with associated brass trims + Autex acoustic panelling to walls (Function Room)
- Promat Promatect-H boarding to fire rated steel beam encasements
- Promat Supalux fireline boarding below fire rated ceiling areas
- Fermacell fibreboarding with fine surface treatment to internal partitions and linings, including associated studwork
- Fermacell H2O powerpanel to WC areas with associated studwork
- Hardwall plaster finishes to internal blockwork
- Susepnded MF ceilings with plaster finish, including DuPont Airguard vapour barrier to CGB
- Installation of shadow gap trims within wall finishes
- Installation of access panels to walls & ceilings
